With a two metre swell still rolling into the Golfe of Ajaccio, Skylark made a beautiful start alongside the larger faster Eileen and gained a lee-bow position coming off the startline, sailing tactically and keeping her main competitor in dirty air (turbulence) for the first 5 miles.
From this leading position Skylark controlled the rest of the race, out sailing Oiseau de Feu, Seranade, Eileen and White Wings to a second race victory.
